Jennie De Jesus Acevedo
Jennie is the founder and owner of Little Star of Ours. She brings brings over 15 years of experience in center based childcare and as a licensed family childcare provider. Prior to starting Little Star of Ours, Jennie served as Assistant Director to other local center based childcare services.
Outside of her professional career, Jennie is a mother of one and considers motherhood to be her biggest educational role. To continually grow as a mother and educator, she teaches her young son through a variety of activities and through bonding on family field trips to libraries and museums.
Jennie is a native to Cambridge, MA where she is active in the community. Her hobbies include arts and crafts, cooking and planting.

Infancy to 5 years are the most important years of a child’s life, therefore daycare is their first outlet of living and learning. I want our family childcare to provide a safe and stimulating learning experiences with loving educators. I believe that with a lot of love and patience any child can reach their full potential. "

Jessica De Jesus Acevedo
Very early in her life, Jessica knew her passion was to educate those eager to learn. She has gained over 10 years of field experience working with child care programs, center-based programs, after school programs and in public schools. Jessica is a Certified Assistant, emergency care instructor and yoga instructor - all of which help her with her role as Enrollment Coordinator, Business Manager and Teacher at Little Star of Ours.
Jessica is a graduate of Framingham State University where she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education and Modern Language. Jessica currently holds her Initial Teacher's License for Pre K - 2 and is currently pursuing here Masters of Education at Cambridge College.
Teaching is not only a career choice, but it is also a way of life. Jessica spends her free time teaching, learning and traveling.
Altagracia De Jesus
Alta brings over 20 years of experience in childcare. She has worked as a nanny and as part of a team at center-based and family child care facilities. Alta is a Regular Assistant and is certified in First Aid and CPR.
During her free time, Alta enjoys planting in her garden, cooking and spending time with her daughters Jennie and Jessica.
